Azarin

- History

Azarin was born at Benden, to parents who were vintners there. Living there until his 12th turn, he had a rather non-exciting childhood, helping out in the vineyards when crops had to be brought in, and going on hunting trips with his uncle.
Just before he turned 13, Aza's father (a journeyman Vintner) was transferred to Tillek hold, and his whole family (a wife - also a jman vintner - and three children) followed across the continent, settling themselves at their new home.
The move jolted Aza somewhat. Having to leave his best friends at Benden made him angry at his parents, and he spent a lot of time outside the Hold, exploring the country-side. Leaving with a tithe-train he ended up at High Reaches Weyr until traders came through, taking him with them towards Nabol.
Forced to leave Nabol after a few turns (due to certain differences with the Holder and a girl), Aza made his way south and - with a short stop-over at Ruatha - ended up at Fort, managing to get lost only a few times on the way. After some time of idling at the Hold, he felt the need to be doing /something/ and was subsequently hired as an assistant hunter.
Spring rolled around and Aza was sitting quietly in the Fort Hold courtyard carving a piece of wood, he was joined by a woman from the hold. Their talk was soon interrupted, however, by the arrival of three dragon landing in the courtyard, crowding poor claustrophopic Azarin against the wall. Soon enough, it became obvious that one of the dragons wanted to bring the hunter back to Ista to Stand for the double clutch on the Weyr's Sands. So Aza became a Candidate, and the rest remains to be seen...
